North Lakes Sports Club has announced plans for it’s inaugural Australia Day pop-up carpark party, with food trucks, live entertainment, pop up bars, and a host of family activities.
General Manager Chris Sartori said the club planned to make the carpark party an annual event, with a focus on providing a host of free activities for the whole family.
“Our Australia Day carpark party will include a range of delicious food trucks, live music, pop up bar, and kids activities including inflatable waterslides, jumping castle, animal farm, face painting, hydroblaster and a dunk tank,” Mr Sartori said.
Access to the carpark party will be available for members and guests from 11am-3pm through the club’s Discovery Lounge.
“Patrons will need to meet our standard entry requirements; either be a member of club or accompanied by a member, a member of a reciprocal club; or live outside of 15km from the venue.
“Alternatively patrons can also become a member on the day for just $5.50 which offers a host of benefits across CSC Group’s three clubs, including membership until December 2018.
“We’ll have a relaxed dress code in place for the day, so make sure to pack your togs, towels, hats & sunscreen for a day of fun, food and entertainment.”
While the carpark party will operate from 11am to 3pm on Friday 26th January, the club will also be hosting a special Ewe Bewt Aussie Show in the Discovery Lounge from 8.30pm with DJ till late.
