Renovations have begun on the Banyan Deck at North Lakes Sports Club to enclose the peak of the deck with a completion date projected by the end of October.
The southern peak of the deck will be enclosed with new glass panelling & glass windows to provide additional protection from the elements.
“We’ve identified the need to make the Banyan Deck more resilient to our climate and a more enjoyable area for our members and guests,” comment Mr Kelvin Patch, Group CEO.
“The peak deck area will also feature fans and heaters so that the views can be enjoyed all seasons round.
“Renovations have begun with the installation of the steel frames for the glass panelling and windows and we project that project will be completed in approximately two to three weeks’ time.”
With the new and improved Banyan Deck, patrons will have extra shelter on windy and rainy days whether dining outside or whilst attending one of the club’s many functions.
As function season looms, this is the time to start booking the Banyan Deck for Christmas celebrations.
North Lakes Sports Club offers a range of function options for small groups of 10 up to 100 guests out on the Banyan Deck.
