An epic battle of Boy Bands vs Girl Groups is set to heat up North Lakes Sports Club when the club presents its next Discovery Nightclub event on Friday 23rd November.
The Boy Bands vs Girl Groups party will aim to settle the debate of which gender has the better music groups, with DJ Les Boss spinning the greatest 80’s, 90’s and 00’s group hits from both genres in the over 18 event in the Discovery Lounge.
Club General Manager Chris Sartori said this would be the fourth nightclub themed party to be held at North Lakes Sports Club.
“Since the launch of our first 80’s themed night in August, we’ve been overwhelmed with the response from patrons, so there is certainly an appetite for this style event among our members to complement the extensive weekly line-up of live entertainment,” Mr Sartori stated.
“This time around, members will get to vote for their favourite girl groups and boy band hits and can directly request songs using CrowdDJ.
“For those wanting to make a night of it, we have a free member’s courtesy bus to get to and from the event, with booking available from 10am on the day.”
Classic hits from groups including the Backstreet Boys, Destiny’s Child, Duran Duran and The Pussycat Dolls will be lighting up the dance floor along with custom costumes by nightclub-goers.
The club will be offering prizes for those who dress to impress, with a Boy Bands vs. Girl Group Best Dressed competition.
Pre-sale tickets for the event are on sale now from just $10 per person plus booking fees, which includes a drink on arrival. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $15 subject to availability.
Tickets are on sale now at www.northlakes.com.au or through the Club’s Foyer.
